We have published a paper about this work and the key role of partnership in facilitating change. In this paper, we share the IEN opportunities that are emerging and the development of a pilot program for IENs at UNBC. The Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills provided an opportunity for three post-secondary sectors across BC to explore educational supports for IENs. In light of our research, we have, with our partner Northern Health, developed an IEN education pathway, which has Senate approval at UNBC and is with BCCNM for evaluation. We will post more details in the coming months.
